@jon_wertheim @AustralianOpen @WTA ATP (and WTA too, I guess) throw a lot of money at the over-hyped events that they own in an attempt to make them look prestigious. World Tour Finals is in no way a ‘big title’ just because only the top 8 qualify. we’ve already established that the rankings are not a credential.
